Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

M.Leather Montreal

AAGH! what a late night! How did this happen??? Here it is 5:24 am and of course i should be in bed.

A busy day... was sad sad... so many things make me think of ob. Either good or bad. Had weird dreams last night about S, my English ex... very similar to ob as per bad messes at Michfest... dreamt about a sort of resort place, where she was ignoring me and hanging out with other people...

Wow... now that is a disjointed paragraph! Must be tired! three subjects in one.

I will just write a little word... today I didnt get any work done, though I got a new text for a new book, which I have printed out and havent read yet... AND I looked at my deadlines and calculated that I am fine for time... so.... walked around the street sale a wee bit... I bought 4 15" pillows in anticipation of buying Indian pillow shams for them at Capharnaum. In the meantime they at least are colors that go with the livingroom.

Then I put together a pile of photos to send to ob's Mom and ex, since I have suspended all copyright rights to ob to make copies of the photos I took. I'll send them as soon as the last shipment of doubles comes in.

Then worked on my website, updating the "faces of the wench" and "fireplay" pages. Tonight after getting home, I worked on a few additions to the "fetish" page. Fun fun.

What took up most of my time today, was I went to the Mr. Montreal leather contest at Theatre Nationale. It was very slow to start, erratic in its pacing, and totally lacking in stage management and mc-ship. But in general it was totally amusing. The erotic fantasy performances by the four contestants were very engaging and fun. The "questions" in jockstraps ( la Miss America bathingsuits) were just silly and cute. The "speeches" were ok... much the level one would find of any "why should you be Mr or Miss blah blah...". And the closing performance was quite fun.

My fave, Pierre, won. He was cute and adorable (a whole 5'7"... love these huge French guys!!), and very peppy and fun. Turns out he is a total bottom, and his fantasy performance was as a top... very cool. His fantasy performance was him in full leathers on a red motorcycle, picking up a sexy punk boy hitchhiker. Got me squirming! mmmmm! Don't know which of the two I would pick! yum yum.

Anyways, a fun night with lots of eyecandy, and lots of nice people. I'm really liking my excursion into the gayboy leather community vs the fetish community. Mostly very friendly, and not very poseur. I will admit I wish I couldve shared it with ob. She would have been fascinated with all the boy posing and grinding!

I introduced myself to Mr. Leather Toronto, Paul, and he was totally friendly, and gave me his card, and says he would hook me up with fun versatile girls in TO... apparently they are starting a women's leather group there. I'll have to check it out.

I also met a woman, S, who was working the door. Chatted with her. Apparently she is becoming a member of MC Faucon, the men's leather group here in town. Had no idea that they would consider women as members. I'll have to ask her about it. She gave me her email too. Very friendly. She is funny, and is "against labels"... she sounds quite versatile, which is a nice thing.

Funny too... the owner of l'Aigle Noir was there tonight, and when I retied his leather laced pants' cuff, he said "thanks George", which seems to be his new name for me! heehee! I also met a man who owns the depanneur in the village. Lots of nice people.

So, that was my evening. Afterwards I walked doggies down to the Funhouse to pop in and say hi, in leather instead of the proper back to school outfit, but it was getting late and I was getting tired. Afterwards, went out for something to eat with M. Black's ex and Denise. The ex is doing great with her guy for a year now, and very happy to have broken up with M. Black. Let me have the same luck eventually!!!!!

Well, I shall now upload a pic of the cover of the MCM contest flyer, and then go to sleep. zzzz.

MAYBE I'll work on Sunday... hah! I just realized it is a long weekend... at least for offices.

Gnight sweet wench... sweet dreams!
