WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

Cinema Sewer

A sunny day. Feel like early fall. surprise surprise. Brushed doggies in the park, and talked to a woman (drat forget her name again) whose son is crazy about drawing, esp naturalistic pictures of birds... he's in grade 2 and a bit of a perfectionist. I took their # to call when I get set up to give classes. Fun.

Didnt get out to buy Marys though I called for a car... got put on hold for ages, and no answer. I realise I must start trying to use the online car booking for Communauto, esp on nice sundays!

Walked around a bit taking photos of graffiti in Montreal... I had noticed recurring fish, somewhat like the recurring turtles TRTL in Detroit... I of course cannot remember where most of them are... I notice them as I go about my daily life, but don't really notice which alleys and street corners they are on. I have ambitions to put more photography on my website, so I registered for another 10Meg of webspace with geocities.

Now I am TRYING to work on a page of comics for Abraxia's Dream, which Sue Marsden puts out. Deadline Sept 1, which is tomorrow. Good thing... deadlines.

I also got a comic, if one can call it that... I flipped through it and was overwhelmed by text text text densely habiting pages with some illos. It is called Cinema Sewer, and is from Robin Bougie, who used to be in Saskatoon, cartooning. I was put off by the density of the pages, but as soon as I started reading I got sucked in. The first thing I read was an article translated from Danish about a 70's bestiality porn star. A fascinating story/interview. I will delve into the rest of it when I find some time (aaah, too many interests, too much time). I got the copy mailed to me since they reprinted a page of Liliane Anti-Porn Fanatic from 1993, where Liliane goes to see "Not a Love Story". It is used as an aside on a review of said NFB film. Velly intellestinct. So go out and get Cinema Sewer...!!

Tahtah, til later.

6:15 am

AAAAGH! I cannot believe it is 6:20 am... i can see if I look through the blinds that it is getting light out... and it is not even early summer when it gets light early.

No, I haven't been a good girl working on my multiple contracts... I've been making more Detroit webpages... ahhh nostalgia. Happiness, comfort, hope, good times, fun, security, travel, photos, good eats, sex, music, movies, love, work, more love, more goodtimes, more happiness. Ah well. Tonight i scanned in most of the drive-by photos we took in April of strange little storefront churches. They spring up like mushrooms after a rain in that god-forsaken city. Here is the URL, if anyone is interested:... just follow the "drive by religion" link on this Lost in Detroit page.

Well, don't know that there is much more to say tonight. Nothing interesting doing except working on said webpages... I got three done. Had a hell of a time with the Tables... kept getting text in the wrong place, overlapping photos etc. aaagh. I need to know how to make the fonts different colors and indented for different html coding so that I can sort it out easier.

Well, tomorrow I shall TRY to work!! I console myself with "it's a long weekend" lalalala... well, there are the same number of days til my contracts are due, long weekend or not. So there, Wenchie procrastinator.

The problem is that I have come up with about six more ideas for different webpages. AAAAHH... I DID do something else this evening... a comic about Liliane in the gay pride parade getting shamed. Perhaps I will upload it... try clicking here: Gay Shame Day

Now, I shall upload that and get to bed. zzzzz... til tomorrow, sweet wenchie!

love, me
