Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

March 12 Friday Five

1. What was the last song you heard?
"Ocean Man" by Ween, cuz I am listening to their Mollusk album right now.

2. What were the last two movies you saw?
1)I watched the movie "Swing" last night on dvd. And I saw "American Splendor just after Valentines Day. You can see when I am not lazing around or seeing anyone to cuddle in bed with, I don't see so many films. I do during the lesbian and gay film festival though.

3. What were the last three things you purchased?
Damn! I had to change my answers for this! I was going to answer "compressed air in a can for cleaning, eyeliner and mascara" but that is wrong... that was this afternoon!! Tonight I bought 1)175 g of double creme brie cheese, 2)a can of salmon to put together with a can of mushroom soup to make "creamed salmon on toast"... hehe, a recipe for 6yr olds! and 3)250 g of fresh mushrooms. I was going to make spaghetti sauce, but then when I changed my mind I got them anyways since they were on sale for 99 cents.

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend?
1)Make a jpeg invite to my comic book launch. 2)Vacuum the floor to get rid of all the dog fluffies, dust and Christmas tree needles.3) Photocopy more invites and promo pages about my comic to send out. 4)Change a sketch for the poster people.

5. Who are the last five people you talked to?
1)The guy begging in front of the grocery store who offered to hold onto my dog for me. (no thanks, I'm gonna tie my dog onto a fixed inanimate object, not give her leash to a mobile complete stranger) 2)The guy at the video rental place, when I took back the Swing dvd late. (he was nice and didnt charge me a late fee, god only knows why cuz I offered to pay it). 3)The cashier at the grocery store. 4)My friend, illustrator Francis, when I stopped by his place to bring him the comics launch invite.5) A complete stranger on the street who remarked that my dog was probably cold tied in front of the coffeeshop (hahahahaha! When I untied her we went walkies for an hour and a half, delivering invites, and now she is still outside 5 hours after he said that... she could ask to come in any time. It is just BARELY under freezing, and this is a Saint Bernard with her winter coat still, who is comfortable lying in the snowbank at minus 30)

Well, that's it! Another Friday Five! I've been darn amiss these past weeks, nay months, not doing them at all. Sigh. But I read them at other people's places and didnt like the questions. These questions I read at Quira's and I liked em so there ya go.
