Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

Agendas of Christians and Husbands

Can anybody tell me why this is inappropriate "pushing of an agenda" to small children... esp if it is written by a lesbian mom who has a chinese daughter... ie she would write a book specifically to reflect her life for her daughter...

Whereas this is appropriate, and of course, not pushing the parents' agenda and values onto kids??
Note that this apparently is the largest competitor to Scholastic books, and Scholastic books are HUGE.

So... now you know why adults spout the bible without thinking why gays are an abomination forever but unscrupulous business practices are um, just something you get your fingers rapped for in the 21st century (was an abomination (Deuteronomy 25: 13 - 16, Proverbs 11: 1 and  Proverbs 20: 10) in the same bible as homosexuality, remarrying if you were divorced ( Deuteronomy 24: 1 - 4)... it is cuz they get it stuffed into them in every means possible: nursery rhymes and lullabies, videos and video games, movies, and story books, school books and novels.

Dang.

And WE have an agenda when we want to be um, treated like the neighbors.

Frightening.

Oh, btw, if you MAY have knocked off your pregnant wife and done things to her body that are termed by the police : "Committing an Indignity to a Dead Body", it is best NOT to be in the search party who just happens to find that body. And how weird is it that they find a body, refuse to say if it is male or female, refuse to say if it is the missing woman in question, BUT they call off the search for her, AND charge the husband with second degree murder and mangling her body? Um yeah. I suppose they found the body of a 14 yr old male runaway, not a 29 yr old pregnant woman, and that is why they are laying those charges. sheesh. More on the news tonight after the autopsy.

Well, lovely,
I have been a good girl and mostly been working crazily on the South Korea contract. Projected finish time? Wed night. aaahhh.

Now if only that meant something. They already gave me the first five chapters of the next two books. And I have two novels to do all the sketches for, as well as a magazine sketch and a bookcover, all in the next two weeks.

Do I want a vacation? oooo I want a vacation!!
