Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

Wenchie Back from San Fran

Hey hey hey!

Da wench is back!!

I had a great and fantabulous time in San Fran... I'll put a bunch of entries. Suffice it to say, while I try to catch up on my emails (814 unread... thank god almost all are spam... maybe 30 or 40 REAL ones, including one from the Bear publicist saying we got a double star review someplace, ie it is great! Yay!) and my buddy list.

My trip just zoomed by. Nonstop nonstop. And next time I'm gonna make it a week or 10 days... the 5 days I was there were not enough since I was just TOO busy. What a blur. But an excellently good blur.

I met JJ (Onewetleg) and her guy Tommy and they are great and fun hospitable people. I cannot believe they have not killed each other yet since they live in a TINY little one room place. Better people than I let me tell you!! (I imagine my teeth gnashing after three days of living with a loved and now dead one in one room!)

And stopped by her store and shopped shopped shopped.

And sold comics and books and traded and bought books and comics and cds and tshirts, and ate and ate and walked and walked ane walked and walked. And did I mention walking?? And WHAT is WITH those SF hills eh?? eek!

The weather was identical to SF June weather. Eerie. On Wednesday I had sunshine beaming down on happy skating people, surrounded by mounds of white snow, and Christmastrees lining the frozen lake in the park. On Thursday I was wearing cutoff combat pants with stripey socks, a Tshirt and a hoodie walking around beside palm trees and green grass. Bizarre.

I hate to say it, but I prefer real winters. Yay for snow and skating and skiing and long underwear!!

Besides that, it is weird to come home to a clean house. I forgot how I cleaned up the kitchen, washed the bathroom, the floors, all the dishes done etc. And everyone I visited in SF lives in lively chaos, with too much stuff and a ton more dust than me. Hehe, it is so weird to feel I am UNcluttered in my living space by comparison!

And no doggy... she is at ClubMed for Doggies in the countryside until Friday morning. So two more dogfree days. I realize now how much she factors into all my daily goingson... I decide what order to shop, eat, where to walk, how long to spend at coffeeshops etc all around her walkies needs. Funny that.

Well, Hi!! to everyone... I'll soon have more stories and photos and scans of prezzies etc etc. But right now I am sort of happily braindead, and off to read other entries.

Hugs!
