Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

Photos Photos Photos!!! Dead Tomatoes and Chairs

Yo. Too sleep to write.. it is 6:30 am, yeah.

So here is lots of photos. ALL images copyright 2004 Wench77

First my the first time my iris has flowered. It is pretty gorgeous if you ask me. Very photogenic.

And here is the poor tomatoes massacred by the doggy I am babysitting. He totally dug up all the Brandywine tomatoes which were the ones I wanted the most. I actually have two plants that I shoved against the side of the building, when I ran out of space... not on the trellises. So MAYBE I'll get a tomato or two out of them. You can see in the second picture the tomato parts circled, to see how nicely he severed the roots and stem from the leaves. Nothin doing to save them. grrrr.

And here is the chair covering I did last wednesday for the massage at the cabaret fundraiser. You can see the "before" ratty chair, and the "after" queenly chair with cushy cushions all fringey and all. yeah. Later there will be photos of it in situ and me in the flapper dress. Eventually I tell ya. But isn't the chair great?! That is what I did til 8:30 am last wednesday night (and shopped for the material Wednesday afternoon... time time time! eek!)

Well that's all ya get today.

If you like you may read this rather amusing interview thingie with some old jazz guy who knew people like Dali and Noel Coward. His name is George Melly.

Here is my horoscope for Tuesday, June 15:

There's absolutely no reason for you to doubt yourself, just because you're questioning a recent decision. Everyone gets to change directions every now and then. It's officially your turn.

Haha. I have been doubting myself all day. But more my personality and whether I am actually a tolerable person (read Dangerspouse's entry on how to take the onus off your own personality and put it on your dog). Not questioning a recent decision.

Well, night night!

me, wenchie.
