Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

Linkorama with Jesus by My Side

Hiya! Well, I'm gonna pretend to work for awhile (yay, the doggie pics were all approved with one or two minor changes... that means the author talked the mean editorial lady out of the things she wanted me to change that I argued about! hehehehe... I just heard a rumour that Marlon Brando had to put a $1million bond thingie down to be hired to do "The Godfather" since he had a reputation of being "hard to work with".... hehe. At least I am not there yet, thank god, since I dont have $1million obviously.)

So in guise of a real entry, here are many funky links.

First up, you know I worry sometimes about being "normal"? or how about people telling me I should "get over" the people I fall for more quickly. Well, just take a gander at a couple of the links on this site to Loser Couples Now they don't really seem like "losers" to me, since of course they know html, and have the means to buy cars and are actually all beautifully in love and all. But I swear that I am almost glad I am not "normal" now. Wow. I don't even have pages of "adopted" images of teddy bears and angels! I do begrudge them their cute normal children though. pox on them.

Next up is a frightening site of Jesus as stalker. Click on the separate thumbnails to see him hovering protectively over workers of many professions at Jesus-With You Always. I will admit the person can draw. But I am very glad I don't believe in Jesus.

Just to bring us back to Diaryland for a moment, here is a refreshingly funny depiction of Real Life BDSM as lovingly rendered by warmleftover. This cracked me up. It is a nice antidote to all those perfect slave perfect Master fantasies out there that make me want to start adopting online cartoons of teddybears.

If you have a bit of time, and or love Charles Schultz who drew the Peanuts, here is a wonderful bio of him from the Charles Schultz Museum. It made me cry. Go figure. It is very interesting and informative with muchly insight in to his personality. Amazing man.

For those who go "huh??" at the "is there such a thing as sex addiction" and even better yet go "whaddoyamean" when I ask "if so, what do you think the diagnostic criteria would be?"... i mean, how literate do you have to be to understand that question!?? SHEESH!! , in my sex-addict survey, well here is a link to Definition of Sexual Addiction, nicely provided by Pixieofdoum

Here is a short (like a paragraph) blurb from Queerday.com updating the state of mind of our favorite cannibal, Armin Miewes.

And finally several thoughtful and provocative pieces by columnist Charley Reese, who sometimes I want to hug and other times want to throw a sack over his head to shut him up. But that is the nature of free speech and opinionated columnists, eh! Yay for opinions! Here we go!

  • Misguided Mission: the wrongheaded idea that the United States can dominate the planet
  • Capture Won't Mean Much: written pre-Hussein-capture, but still just as pertinent.
  • Murder Inc.: expos of Bush govt plans to have death squads to hit "targets" in Iraq.
  • Not About Bush: a well-stated point about how being against a president's policies is not anti-constitutional
  • A Good Hobby: backyard astronomy helps put humankind into perspective
  • A Bad Place: fighting guerillas as a losing proposition
Well, that should keep y'alls busy for awhile! Now I'm gonna go ink some comic pages, and then cut out paper for the doggies.

Is it cold where you are? Here it is windy, and bloody cold. Tomorrow with the wind it is supposed to feel -34C. glll. And I have to have a Saint-Bernard, not a chihuaha. No self-respecting chihuaha wants to lay in the snow at -34C. Sigh! Ps thanks for all the get-warm suggestions yesterday!

Here is my horoscope for Wednesday, January 7:

What you do isn't quite an act, but there's no need to publish the back story. It's both exhilarating and terrifying to be your own therapist. Others would admire you even more if they could see your inner strength.
