Cost of the War in Iraq
WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.
Little Things that Make Me Happy
But I did get the laundry, vacuuming and dishes done.
Now some little things that make me happy!
Organic brandywine tomato seeds... :) unfortunately from Vesey's and not Seeds of Change, which was unable to supply me last year, and apparently this year. Yay! I realize now I have FOUR kinds of organic tomato seeds! Yay for homefresh tomatoes which I will start in the basement next week! GRIN!!
My fuzzy fluffy lovey doggy who smells nice from her bath last week, and give me kisses and loves me so.
My yellow chicken comforter that matches my yellow curtains and yellow walls and makes me feel cuddled and loved every night.
Nature Clean cleaning lotion that is unscented and biodegradable and good for damn well everything, and doesn't stink up and pollute and all that shit. Yay for products that are more about the products than the packaging.
Getting along again with my Mom who seems to stopped being so angry and nutso. Yay!
My funny funny kitties who demand love and cuddles and tummy rubs and bumping their heads against me for attention, purring loudly and shedding hair everywhere.
My front yard that is a total mess right now but is inspiring in my mind new landscaping with my tomato trellises and stepping stones, poppies and new lawn this year.
Cheese curds left over from my book launch... mmmm, mix with a can of tuna and put on toast under the broiler. yum yum yum.
Chunks of beets and beet greens from my garden last year, from the freezer and heated and eaten with golden butter melting dripping, and a bit of salt.
Mmm. People who write me emails that they are excited to read my new book.
Well, that is enough little things right now. Little things that make me happy on a late March day.
Hope you find little things to make you happy too.
Here is my horoscope for Friday, March 26:
4 People have left cute, callous or caring comments on the wench's wordiness!!
