Cost of the War in Iraq
WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.
Little Smidgens and Some Quotes
Oh, here is a little blurb. You can see that the next three weeks will be like this. Very few real thoughtful entries but many little blurbs since I am stuck in the studio with the puter all the time but focussed on the drawings and needing small breaks. You can look at my last entry earlier tonight.
I am licking away at SquirrelX right now. That means not gobbling it down, but taking a little smidgen in passing as time goes by.
Right now I had to requote this quote:
"Cats seem to go on the principle that it never does any harm to ask for what you want."
Yes, that is brilliant. My cats definitely seem to go on that princilple. I wish I were more like that, or at least didn't regret when I was like that. :)
And here is another one that can go out to various people I care about or love or have loved:
"I love you, and because I love you, I would sooner have you hate me for telling you the truth than adore me for telling you lies."
And you know what? It is very hurtful when people tell you lies so you will adore them. Yup.
3:21 amHere's one for ob:
"Love comes when manipulation stops; And here is one for me:
"Striving for excellence motivates you;And another one for me:
"Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood."All gleaned at SquirrelX's... you should read SquirrelX everybody. I like SquirrelX. I save many quotes from there, and revel in her entries. :)
4:02 am Here's a sketch of the last page of the Far North book... I'm scanning this in now before I make some minor changes... see if you can see the changes when I scan in the second one...Click to see a larger size. Copyright 2004 Wench77 of course.
3 People have left cute, callous or caring comments on the wench's wordiness!!
