Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Just a Rundown of What I Did Today

OK, the last entry just said I am a baked potato. Yeah, you can go back one and see it but that's all it says.

Somehow it is now 6:23 am. I just finished faxing three drawings for the adult textbook. Yeah, it's my fault I didn't get all 6 done and now tomorrow will be a rush of work. Cuz once I got on the puter researching the settings for the drawings (electronics store, caf, train station), I got stuck looking for bicycle trailers for dogs again. There are quite a few, but the prices vary only from $350 US to $500 US. And that doesnt count transport to Canada, import fees, taxes etc. eeeeek.

Well that's pretty much the research for tonight.

So yeah, besides beating up that guy the other night (maybe I can do it again, he was hinting he'd like it if I called) I am figuring I will have a garage sale, and sell a bunch of lying about stuff. That is hard, cuz I keep thinking "oh, i'll use that" or "that'd be expensive if I had to replace it". hehe. But there are items here and there I could part with. The question is whether I could actually get enough moulah per item to be worth it. Anyways, I'll sell the chest freezer, and my toosmall climbing shoes and those should help. Anything for the doggy eh.

So, what did I do today. I am really lacking these days in humour and interesting rants eh! I even am too late tonight to scan in those photos I promised. Bad bad me.

hehe.

spank me with a tspoon. (no I don't like spanking)

I... drew one page of comics, unfortunately not in the storyline I am putting online right now. It is about the rain. Cuz yes, it was raining again. Other than one sunny day every three days, it has rained for about three weeks. Grass and weeds are growing to beat the band. And my moss in the backyard too...

Which leads to the next thing I did...

I took my grass shears and trimmed the WHOLE backyard (about 25 x 15 feet) by hand snip snip snip, including the plantain weeds. I had started to dig em up roots and all, but there are so many I'd never be done before it snowed, AND since there are so many, once I"ve dug up a patch, there are big empty spots in the lawn. Perfect for squirrels and cats to dig in and doggies to get dirty feet. So I snipped em all off about an inch tall. Their roots'll keep the dirt in place. And now it looks so TIDY in the backyard! wowza!

I have big ambitions... on Saturday I want to go buy plants for the garden (that is dumb, the market will be SO BUSY on saturday) and get hostas and ferns for the back where the grass died. I want it to look GREAT!! I want to put vines up the concrete wall, and put up some posts so that I can string the patio lights ob gave me. I've even figured out I can sink juice cans into the ground (that is only how far you can sink anything since it is landfill gravel or something solid below that) and fill em with concrete to make the posts stand, and also the bamboo torches that keep keeling over. And pea gravel for the front under the balconies where water falls from the roof and makes dirt splash three feet high. And stone dust for underneath the flat paving stones I never sank into the lawn. And new turf for where the dog lies hehe.

Anyways, yeah, clipped the whole back lawn.

And did my yoga! yowza! One hour of stretching and strength. Good me! I think I'll start doing pushups every day. It is cheaper than going to the gym.

I looked through some bookshelves, and my shoes and here and there and got together three boxes of possible garage sale items.

and searched online for doggie carts. And drew three drawings and faxed them.

That is a pretty good day.

I just wish I didn't actually have to work. I'd be so darn productive if I was only doing things i wanted instead of procrastinating! hehe.

That is the end. nite nite. sleep tite.

If the bedbugs bite, ya gotta exterminate them. yeah.

tah!

Here is my horoscope for Wednesday, May 26:

That new self-help philosophy you're trying to work into your life? No problem. Don't forget to apply the principles to your checkbook, ATM and plastic.

Hehe, the astrologers have finally gotten with the program. Yup I am applying the principles. Thus the garage sales etc. yeah. On top of it all, the US $ Visa Card I got approved for in January or so is going to be "discontinued" by Visa on July 1. So I won't be able to use it. Oh well. It was a great idea so I didn't pay their outrageous exchange rates into Cdn $. But the fewer cards you have the fewer you can use eh. That's the end for today. tah! again tah!
