WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me. Back again with SuperGold OK, I finally sucked it in and paid out for a supergold renewal. Dang. I keep spending money. I know money is coming in, but it is going out faster than it is coming in. Yesterday, nearly $700 for the upstairs tenant's waterheater. Everything in the building I own is old, not standard, and "bricolé"... ie put together haphazardly in some backwards manner by some "handyman". Every time I think something will be quick and easy to replace, we find "surprises"... usually illegal fittings, iffy electrical wiring etc. So yeah, $700 to replace one small waterheater (half size tank under a kitchen cupboard). That is about two months of the guy's rent. But more than that, I keep spending by $20 here $70 there. Some wiser purchases than others. Many not necessary. I think it goes along with the semidepression I think I am in... like I just spent $20 plus getting a car to pick up, a used 1971 Fisher Price music box record player for my son. It would be great, but I think it is playing too slow. "Twinkle Little Star" in molasses. Well, I gotta be getting back to work. I am slowly reverting to my "get to bed past 3am" habits of old...not the best when you have a 2 yr old. Yesterday he pulled most of the leaves off the jade plant while I was sleeping in and he was supposed to be watching his "learning chinese" dvds and eating cheerios. Well, let's see if I am back now. And I really should write an entry about Stephen Harper's comment in Saskatoon (my home province) yesterday, that the average ordinary working canadian doesn't want to come home and see artists at taxpayer subsidised rich galas at his expense. He says "culture" is a "niche"... hmmm. yeah. I've noticed. Nobody listens to music, goes to movies, rents dvds, reads books, etc. just a bunch of old fogies going to the opera. Everyone else ... oh! yeah! turns on tv after work... to watch galas! I guess they can all watch hockey games instead. Anyways, that made me so angry. me 4 People have left cute, callous or caring comments on the wench's wordiness!! Go to "notes" instead of comments ps, you'll need to email me for a username and password
