Cultural Offerings to Whet your Palate
OK, this is the cultural entry for the day.
The last entry tonight was about background checks.
This is about backgrounds... well, a Chinese background. I see that the radio is really into Chinese economic and social change these days... now there is a piece on about Chinese American rapper, Jin Au-Yeung His stuff is cool, at least what they played... it is good rap music AND it is about being chinese etc, which is totally different. This is a pretty good article about him.
The other cultural offering tonight is this excellent gallery of photos taken in the New York Subway system. The visuals are stunning, the chiaroscuro gorgeous, the emotion strong, the aesthetics impeccable. The subway like you've never seen it before, by Travis Ruse.
