Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

Circular Saws and ZZZZZZs

Egads, it is 4 minutes to seven, and I am not done what I need to do yet.

I have friends coming at noon to go to eat (ie I need to be up and showered and presentable) and pick up doggies to take her to their place in the countryside for the week I'm at musicfest. And I just finished this drawing:

Copyright 2005 Wench77

And I'm scanning it (obviously), wrapping it, filling out the invoice and fedex.

And I really really need to do the sketch for another client's book cover. I said I'd fax it and call her at work on Friday (after all, I'm then gone for a week). ACK. I think I'll lay it out now, have a shower so I can burst straight out of bed (too bad it's not winter, I'd sleep in my clothes... but as it is I'd be all sweaty) and get to sleep. Ack.

I wanted to be getting to bed by 4am in order to start turning my schedule around a bit for the musicfest. I cannot be going to sleep at 7am and getting up at 2 pm there. I'll miss everything (and be really really bored from midnight on). ack ack ack. And I didn't even get the swiss chard blanched and in the freezer. I should have left it in the garden for two more days... I really thought I'd find the time to do it. Silly me. I did wash doggies though so she's all clean and fluffy. Did the dishes. Worked on the South Korea contract. Got to the bank. Well, all sorts of things.

Friday will be even busier. Running around downtown after friends and doggies are gone. Doing laundry. Swiss chard, packing, scanning in all the pages of South Korea sketches I've done so far and sending them.

OK, I'll never get to bed if I keep writing about what I have left to do.
And btw, never use a circular saw on "roots" in the ground... they may just be the phone line.
cheers!
