Frightening, absolutely frightening.
This is the man who said he was ashamed to be Canadian when we didn't "support" our American neighbors in invading Iraq.
And he bitches about the liberals' use of public finances?
Let's see. Up to now Iraq has cost the US over 2000 soldiers' lives, and over 235 BILLION DOLLARS. Two hundred and thirty five BILLION dollars.
And let's see... it is the socialist NDP who are supposedly tax and spend???
let's revise that.
235 billion dollars and 2000 american lives.
How much public housing, health services and education could we provide with that??
Did you know that the Canadian healthcare system costs one third per Canadian than the American healthcare system costs per American? Can you imagine just how much better our system would be if we tripled the healthcare spending to equal the American cost per citizen? And Stephen Harper thinks the problem is universal healthcare delivered by government, and wants it to be more like the US.
hah.
Well, I am sad and dismayed to see how Canadian election polls are going. They have recently taken a turn against the Harper campaign (privatise healthcare, retract gay marriage, be a strong international military presence, bring back "family values", crack down on immigration, get tough on crime and drugs), but Harper is still leading.
How depressing.
But why be different when we can follow the US down the tube in terms of deficit spending, international aggression, losing international esteem, having our dollar go down instead of up in value???
Let's all vote for Harper and HARMONIZE with the USA. Cuz they are our neighbors.
And you all know that if you are educated, intelligent, peaceful, hardworking, compassionate and moderate, you should reduce yourselves to the level of your uneducated, unable to form a complete sentence, debt-ridden, violent, aggressive, outsourcing, inhumane right wing neighbors in order to have "harmony". yeah. great. lovely.
