Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

Counting Hatched Sheep

Ah, don't count your sheep before they've hatched.

Or your calm dreams while you're still awake.

Or something like that.

When the nice tech lady arrived at 1pm (ie I was getting up for an hour to meet with her, with plans to sleep from 2-3:30 to finish my night), she was very appreciative of the great work I had done in Photoshop etc. And then we realized I had done all the work on an RGB document LABELED cmyk... Ie I had saved it to change to cmyk to work on, and then forgot I hadnt. So when we changed it, WHACKO, all the colors were shitola again... ie the skintones looked like Double Bubble. urk.

So, after an hour she left, I had a headache, head spinning and couldnt get back to sleep... probably didnt doze off til past 3:30... and then woke up at 5:30. So much for seeing some of the afternoon. glll

Proofread my whole comic printout and found a few more touchups. So together with the cover, I actually finished my final Quark stuff at around midnight tonight. Yup. Dogwalkies cuts into the day let me tell ya! She expects TWICE between 5:30 and 10pm.

And then I put together the whole shebang, ie transfering all the files onto cds. And the fuckin cds wanted to be "verified perfect" in the cd burner and "not readable by this computer" in my hard drive. Lovely. Anyhews... I finally got one that seems to work in both, and am sending the cd the nice scanner girl gave me as well, for backup. Egads.

So. Plans to take it easy this afternoon...nixed. Good sleep...nixed (I had dreams of being lost in some SF subway which was also on an island like Montreal, and which was also LondonUK at the same time, with my father, and we couldnt find a map that had the transfer points on it. We ended up all the time getting stuck on some line we had to ride for 20 minutes before being able to transfer to another line... same story again. Anyways, we were lost on the green line (yup, there were colors), and late and just screwed riding around. Very relaxing...not)... Dressing nicely today like a real human... nixed. Getting my GST taxes report done for the bank tomorrow... nixed.

But hopefully my printer document is worth an A+, I did do the dishes, and walk the dog, and hassle the renters for the rent (well I got 3 rents out of 4 ack).

And tomorrow I have to be up at 1pm to send my printer stuff Fedex, and then rush off with the doggies to get a car to go to the bank and then cross-country skiing at my friend Hotsauce's place. I wouldve put it off again, but last year that happened so often we didnt go even once. And tomorrow it is supposed to be nice (ie not minus 20, and not zero which they are predicting for Wednesday... slush-ola urkola).

Oh my gosh, Fawrah Fawcett (I have no idea if that is spelled right) is 57, they just said on the radio. eek. We've gotten old we've gotten old!

But that's another entry.

Zzzz... one day entries will pick up. I swear. Soon.

Byebye for now.

wenchie, me.

And here is my laughable horoscope...

Here is my horoscope for Sunday, February 1:

The perfect date is someone with whom you can discuss a wide variety of subjects. New

ideas matter more to you than physical satisfaction. At this point, you'll settle for

romance or friendship.

Was there some date I missed today? Huh?? Discussion? Romance? Friendship? That must be the pre-tech-lady visit!

tah!
