Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Wine Zonks Me Out

Incredibly short entry.

I am back from Motorcycle Boy's birthday party which was quiet and nice. Took doggy and she got to visit with his puppy (they were pukingly adorable sleeping together) and another dog that was there. Two glasses of wine and I am pooped. What a lightweight. Dang.

Now I'm washing my backpack, since his boy kitty decided it needed to be pissed upon and good. What a stench. Having a boy kitty myself it was primordial that I wash it BEFORE he gets miffed at the boy stench from beyond, and goes on a piss marking rampage of the whole house. Dang.

I also have to print out and read the required reading material for the workshop tomorrow.. DM. That means Dungeon Monitor or Dungeon Master/ Mistress. Kind of like a bouncer or mediator at a Dungeon Party. I'd explain more but I haven't taken the training yet. The DM is the one who has the responsibility to make sure all rules are being followed, as per not interrupting others' scenes, making sure play is safe, that limits are respected, and breaks things up or intervenes if there is a problem. I sure hope the readings aren't long cuz I am tired as hell and I have to be up in 7 hours to get there on time.

After the DM workshop, which is three hours long, there is an Edgeplay workshop... It is being taught by the same out-of-town guy who is teaching the DM workshop. Should be very interesting. It is kind of funny to go to these kinds of training workshops with no play in sight. hehe. Unlikely that I will need a DM or Edgeplay workshop with Disappearing Boy. Though I might get asked to DM at our girl play parties. There is a mixed play party after the workshops, but from the time I get up to the time I get home it will be like 12 hours already, and I would like to get some work done.

Today I got zilch done on the Leo's Dog book... I did do nearly two pages of comics and most of the coloring-in on a magazine piece which I'll scan in for ya tomorrow. Oh, I didn't get ZILCH done on the Dog book... actually I got Disappearing Boy to pose for two different pages where I wasn't happy with the drawings before he ran out the door. So that is a wee something.

Well, gotta go see if I can print out those Word documents now. heh. Word crashes about three times out of five. yay. Not.

Still missing ob. Sigh.

Have a nice day!
Wenchie.

ps, as Avalonte pointed out, I didn't say yet what the client thought was an error that needed correcting on the little girl walking the dog drawing... they said her ear is too high. I said no, when I draw a line from the top of her ear through her eye, it goes where it should, parallel with the tilt of her head and her gaze. I really don't know where people dredge up the problems they imagine. Oh well. I didn't change it. Though at first they said "her nose is too large, her chin is too long, her ear is too high, please just give her a wee little facelift". So I did all that. The result is what you see. it was AFTER the wee little facelift, with me already moving the ear, that they asked it be still lowered more. I didn't. Thanks to Avalonte for pointing out I hadn't answered. Cheers!
