Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you.

WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.

A Quick Synopsis of the Past Week

Egads, it is true.
I haven't updated in forever.

I am just really really busy.
In the last week I drew many many sketches, had to prepare and then go into a studio to be filmed (or rather my hand filmed) drawing 20 drawings for some tv commercials.
I drove to another town two hours away and gave a presentation to 30 kids at a library.
I took a full day CPR and first aid class.
I finished another 13 drawings for an educational client.
I had a meeting of the illustrators' assoc and we went for drinks afterwards to celebrate getting funding.
I had an evening of pizza and watching Kill Bill for the first time (ok ok, I admit I liked it, despite having insisted I'd hate it for like three years)... and yes, it was with artsyguy. No hanky panky.
I am reading tons.
I am doing tons of other drawings for another client.
I am trying to sort of keep up on the comics.
Dealing with plumber cuz water is once again falling on my head from above... now since Saturday past.
Dealing with tenants who are moving in and out and subletting to friends and relatives.
I am dealing with a dog who falls down when she tries to squat to poop, and a dog who, as normal, soaks up all the wet and filth of melting city snow, coupled with pouring rain. Incredible how much longer it takes to deal with going out and coming back into the house when you have to wash feet, rub down a whole dog, hang things to dry etc.

Anyways, that is what is up.
So, between all that, and trying to eat and sleep, and stay on top of emails and phonecalls (I am not on top of the vacuuming, though I am on top of laundry and cat litter)... I haven't really had much time for updates. sorry.
yeeps.

cheers!
