Cost of the War in Iraq
WARNING!!!! if you know me personally, you may read my diary, but if you do, you take the chance of hearing things you don't want to know, misunderstanding what I've written and being hurt by it. If you are unsure if it is ok to read, save yourself and me the grief and heartache, and ask first!!! Please note that this is a DIARY, ie my subjective feelings, hearsay, suppositions, and outpourings of ranting of the moment. It does not represent objective news, the whole of what I think of a topic or someone, or even a thought-out representation of any of the above. Keep that in mind. Thanks. * Here is a Diary Etiquette Read Me.
Ok, yes i'm back.
For 7 days I got to bed at 1:30am-ish and got up at 9:30am-ish. Yes, me!!! hehe. Being in the woods definitely helps with that.
But then on Sunday I was at a dance til 1am (and if I had stayed on the Land, I would have gone straight to my tent and crashed zzz), but instead I drove to Detroit (ob's cousin's house) and didn't get to sleep til 6:30. Then she got home from work at like 9am, we chatted til 10:30 am, then slept til noon.... not so much sleep!
And then I jumped into the car and drove til I got home at about 4:30 am Monday night. To bed around 6am by the time I got the car unloaded and all. Up at 11 am to take back the rental car. Back to bed 12:30- 3pm. Well, that's why I am zonked.
And back on some weird schedule! Oh well! The camping schedule was so promising for normal society! LOL!
I had a great time. No drama at the musicfest. No craziness, no difficulty with exes, no fights, no new affairs. Relaxation, bodypainting appreciative ladies and kids, lots of music and hanging out. yay!!
Now my pasta will be done cooking and I can again eat mmmmm CHEESE!! (eek, 7 days with NO DAIRY! ... ok there was parmesan on the pasta one night... but it is not butter, or mozza, or cream... hehe).
And have my nocook tomatobasil pasta sauce. With yellow tomatoes. The funny gardencarer girl said she picked all the red tomatoes, not any that were yellow. Well, I tellya, yellow tomatoes are green when they are not ripe, and will stay yellow til they rot hehe.
So I have a ton of yellow tomatoes to eat. mmmm.
ps, did I mention that the author of the novel I am supposed to have colored the cover illustration for tonight (I'll do it tomorrow... the editor will be in town on Thurs and I have to drop it off to her) emailed me to say she hadn't seen the sketch? Well, I faxed it and she said she doesn't like it. She also said that the character lifting a weight on the cover illustration doesn't lift weights in her book. I hate it when authors have no clue what they write. I cited seven pages back to her where she wrote that he lifted weights or did shows of strength. gack. I also hate it when editors do NOT show the authors the sketches, and approve me to color them in without the approval of the author. I hate it when the author starts suggesting new ideas when the editor expects the approved illustration to already be colored and delivered in a day. Gack!!
I know i didn't mention that doggies is still gone. And may be gone for days. The doggysittingpeeeples aren't coming into the city for maybe three days. How can I live without doggy kisses? What will I do to structure my day? oh dear oh dear!
6 People have left cute, callous or caring comments on the wench's wordiness!!
ps, you'll need to email me for a username and password
