Our Katrina
Four hours of steady rain later, I just realize what it is... it is our hurricane Katrina... yup.
Totally incredible that this far from any ocean it would have this intensity. Downgraded from a hurricane to a storm yup.
The idea of what this must have been like on the coast of Mississippi is boggling.
With CBC more than a little dead, I have heard almost nothing of it here.
But I must take this moment to hang my head in a moment's silence for New Orleans and environs.
