Native Rap and Science Gets Bad Rap
OK I know I am mostly putting links and things, oh well!!
Here it is still hot as hell, and humid. We alternate 30°C with thundershowers, ad nauseum. Hot and humid urk. I am still working on South Korea. It is endless I tell ya. The garden is good, the cats and dog are good and there is like, nothing to say.
So, since I am stuck listening to the radio while I work I hear things and then google them, and that's one way we get all these links. The other way is that I am stuck here next to the puter and emails come in.
So, up next is this great rap group called War Party... they are a native band with members from Saskatchewan and Alberta I think... they were just on the radio. Socially important, political, and just catchy good music that is inspiring. Totally cool. yay!! Check them out!! Here's their official website.
And here is a good blog entry about how America is shipping off all of its manufacturing jobs, as it wants to be this great science and technology leader, except that America is anti-science, and pro-religion. Hard to teach genetics and how microbes evolve if you believe that the microbes are sent by God to punish gays, and that life hasn't evolved, but what created as is by God 6000 years ago. yay. Intelligent Design fucked up when he created the human brain I tell ya.
