Kerry Speech
Here's a speech by John Kerry that I think is worth reading. Simply because it is so mind-boggling that any American politician running for presidency might actually address reality without being in a complete and pompous state of denial. Ok, the guy is a bit hyped up on the US but he's running for president dammit. I have heard Mary K Cosmetics reps hyped up too. I don't think he is a wonder man but he sounds like his head MIGHT be screwed on sort of facing forward with eyes that work maybe even.
I still wonder about the "terrorists beyond reason" and "destroy them"... like squishing ants... many terrorists are regular people at wit's end who are unemployed and angry (see further down in his same speech about an Iraqi with a job is less likely to be an anti-American terrorist Iraqi)... and if you just start blowing them up, they have kids and brothers, parents and cousins. yeah.
But anyhews, I present to you Kerry's Speech at New York University. Tah.

ps, here is a David Cole opinion article about how exactly the war on terrorism is going, what with 5,000 suspected terrorists arrested (read Muslim foreign nationals) in the US and zero convicted terrorists since 9/11. Yay for gettin them terrorists. Not.
